Astronomy for the Amature (which is me)
Occasionally (weather and schedules permitting), I will attempt to have a "star party", where I will go to a nearby dark place, and set up my telescopes to view interesting facets of the cosmos, that may be visible at a particular time of the year. I will try to post those "parties" on this site, as well as any photos taken at this time. My secret identity is that of a junior-astrophotographer.
