The Society for Creative Anachronism

"The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our 'Known World' consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Our 'royalty' hold courts at which they recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group."   - sca.org

I have been a member of the Society (that's S.C.A. for short) for over 30 years now.  The period of time that I have focused on is around 1450 Germany.  I specialize in making gothic plate armor, calligraphy, and am practicing sword fighting.  My Father, Duke Albert von Dreckenveldt, is my Master metalsmith from whom I am learning the finer parts of smithing armor and weapons.

Eventually, when I have the time to post, I will present some of the armor that I have made with the assistance of my dad, and by myself.
